Check-In Policy
Standard arrival opens from 3:00 pm.
The named lead guest must show the booking card and matching photo ID when arriving.
The cardholder must arrive in person and stay as a registered guest.
Using someone else’s credit card must be approved in writing by Colour Terrace Hotel before you arrive.
Front desk hours: 8:00 AM–11:00 PM every day.
Arriving outside desk hours? Arrange late arrival with guest services beforehand.
Check-Out Policy.
Standard departure time is 10:00 AM.
Late departures depend on availability and can attract an extra fee. Please ask before 9:00 AM on departure day.
Leaving late without approval may add fees.
Clean Atmosphere Policy.
No smoking or vaping is allowed in rooms or any indoor shared spaces.
CCTV covers the property around the clock.
Breaking the no-smoking rule attracts a minimum $500 deep-clean and odour fee, plus costs to restore the room.
Damage charges and extras
Damage that affects resale or future guest use attracts a minimum $300 charge.
Guests pay for repair, replacement or specialist cleaning costs arising from their stay.
Alarms may trigger from smoking, vaping, cooking, aerosols or heavy steam. A guest-caused false alarm carries a minimum $1,500 fee.
Guests may be asked to leave if conduct risks safety, property, other guests, or the hotel’s reputation — including indoor smoking, damage, disruption or illegal activity.
Access, keys and security
Guests under 18 need a responsible adult with them.
Only registered guests may enter rooms. Day visitors may not sleep overnight.
We may decline entry or service for any guest or invitee.
After-hours assistance can attract a call-out fee.
Lock your room and keep valuables with you. Lost or stolen items are not the hotel’s responsibility.
Personal Property.
Anything you bring stays at your own risk — Colour Terrace is not liable for loss or damage.
Getting here and parking
Bikes are not allowed inside guest rooms.
Bikes must be kept in the storage spots organised via reception.
Bikes left in unapproved places may be taken away.
No-Show Policy.
Missing the booked arrival date is a no-show; remaining nights are cancelled.
Refund rules follow the rate you booked:
Flexible rate: nights cancelled inside 48 hours remain chargeable.
Non-refundable bookings: the entire stay amount is due.
Booking Modifications.
Changes to bookings depend on availability and may change the rate or add fees.
A different rate may apply if the earlier rate is gone when the change is made.
Reservations covering any night from 29 December through 2 January (inclusive) are prepaid in full and cannot be refunded.
Payment Policy.
At arrival, present the card used to book plus photo ID in the same name.
Bring a passport, driver licence, or government age card.
Arrival without matching card and photo ID means check-in will be refused.
Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX carry a 1.5% card fee.
We may hold or charge the full stay and extras on the card provided for the booking.
If the card is declined, another accepted card must be supplied within 48 hours, otherwise the reservation can be cancelled.
Refund Policy.
Any refund returns to the same payment method used for the reservation.
Refunds are returned only to the same card, as required by Australia’s AML/CTF Act 2006.
Legal and industry compliance
Colour Terrace Pty Ltd (Colour Terrace Hotel) operates under Queensland hotel rules, Australian Consumer Law, privacy duties, WHS requirements and accommodation licensing.
Guests must follow house rules and applicable law for the length of the stay.

Updates to booking terms
Colour Terrace property keeps the right to update these terms whenever needed. ongoing use of the property and its services means you accept of any changes.
Governing Law.
These terms follow Queensland law; Queensland courts have jurisdiction over disputes.
